RAGA NIGHT showcases two internationally acclaimed musicians :
SOUMALYA MUKHOPADHAYA - A famous Indian Slide Guitarist, an empanelled artist of ICCR & All India Radio!
India's slide guitar, also known as 'Mohan Veena' is a combination of archtop Hawaain guitar, Vichitra veena & Sitar. It is a relatively new instrument to the Indian classical music (Hindustani) genre.
SAMIT BANIK - A well-known tabla artist, Awardee of Sangeet Ratna from Bangiya Parisat (Kolkata) & Sangeet Bhusan from Pracheen Kalakendra (Chandigarh)
We invite you to enjoy this spectacular evening of Hindustani music by these two internationally acclaimed artists !

Deekshaa is a leading arts organisation based in Midlands. We teach and promote Indian arts -music, dance and theatre, create innovative art projects, including musical theatres and dance dramas and organise art festivals and art events. We received the prestigious Arts Council England National Lottery Grant 3 times -for our musical theatres/ dance dramas & The National Lottery Community Fund for our arts & wellness project - A Slice of Arts!

We conduct music & dance classes in: Birmingham, Dudley & Solihull.
